Pink Bathrooms

Blue and green have long been popular colour choices for the bathroom due to their association with water, but have you considered a pink bathroom?

Many interior designers now consider pink as a neutral shade. Not bright Barbie pink or the more strident magenta, the pink we are looking at is soft, with a slight yellow tone – think powder pink or the colour of unpainted plaster. This subtle colour can be combined with stronger hues, it works particularly well with green, blue and chocolate brown. But one of the nicest things about decorating with pink is that it instantly brings warmth to the room making it ideal for north facing bathrooms. And, if you paint your walls pink, the light they bounce back is extremely flattering to our skin. So, when you stand in front of the bathroom mirror you will look radiant.

Pink also works particularly well with brass taps and brass shower fittings creating a warm and welcoming interior scheme
